With the passing of long time Supervisor James Quinn, the township is in need of a qualified person to fill James seat on board of supervisors. We have 30 days to fill this seat according to the state.  Qualifications for this position are:  Must have lived in the township for at least 1 year prior and be a registered voter.  If you are interested in the job, come to the meeting August 27 at Newtown Fire House at 7:30PM.   The qualified applicant will be sworn in till the November Election.  Then if you want to continue, you would have to get on the ballot to be elected for a four year term.
